Conformance status
We work towards the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. This statement is based on a self-assessment, not a third-party audit. We do not claim full conformance: the points below are measured, one of them is not met today. Last checked on 28 August 2026, on the pages we looked at, not on every one.
What we measured
- Contrast. All three text levels clear 4.5:1 on all three surfaces (recomputed 4.53:1 to 19.28:1). On the tinted hover surface of the calculators that holds for the two darker levels only; the chips there therefore use the middle one (6.09:1), not the lightest (4.36:1). Over the home page image we measured the real pixels: headline 7.77:1, subline 11.16:1, navigation 8.00:1.
- Visible keyboard focus. Keyboard users get a ring around the element with a paper-coloured gap in front of it: recomputed 5.34:1 against the surface, 3:1 is required. Text fields show focus through a lighter surface and a stronger edge instead. With a mouse the ring stays off. Until 27 August 2026 it was suppressed globally; that was listed here as a defect and is fixed.
- Motion. With
prefers-reduced-motionset you get no fades and no typing example sentence; what arrives is there at once. Two kinds of movement remain: the short state change on hover or open (an arrow that shifts a little, a caret that turns) and the loading indicator, which spins while something loads. No content is hidden behind a reveal: if an animation never runs, the text is fully there. - Language. The document
langattribute follows the chosen language rather than being fixed. - Zoom. Pinch zoom is never disabled; form fields are at least 16px so iOS does not zoom on focus.
- Keyboard. Navigation, forms and selects are keyboard operable. Listboxes invert their active row (ink on paper, measured 18.69:1).
Non-accessible content
- Third-party listing content. Descriptions and photos come from the providers. We cannot fix their alt text or formatting. When an image is missing or unreachable we hide the listing rather than show an empty frame.
